FULL SERVICE DESIGN.

For commercial, hospitality and residential

Full service design is a total affair, where we design, furnish, and style every inch to make your dream real. Our recipe for success is born in trust, working with clients who embrace our style, and endow creative liberty.

Our clients want spaces that are transformative, inviting, and warm. The process at LDI is organic, and relies on tactile, full material boards, explored on-site, using the light that is naturally provided. It’s a heavy hands-on collaboration with lots of in-room work to ensure the result is special, inspiring, and soulful.

ROOM RECIPE.

A working session and a designed plan you can actually use. We meet virtually, walking through the space, the constraints, and what you actually want it to feel like. Then I take what we discussed and turn it into your Room Recipe: a one-page recipe card with the thesis of the room, a sequenced plan, the specs that matter, and a personal note on the first move I'd make if it were mine.

You leave with a plan you can execute yourself, hand to a contractor, or bring back to me for deeper work.

with Liz Dutton

  • You have a room that isn't working and you can't quite name why. Maybe you've made changes over the years and they haven't added up. Maybe you're stuck between three directions and can't commit to one. Maybe you have a larger project underway and want a designer's eye on a specific room before you spend another dollar. Room Recipes are also a fit for contractors making major design decisions, DIYers who've hit a roadblock, and clients who want to pilot working with me on a single room before scoping something larger.

  • Whole-home scope, multi-room projects, or anyone who wants me to source, spec, or oversee execution. Those engagements are better suited to Full Service Design or a deeper custom engagement (ask me about The Prix Fixe).

  • When you book, you'll answer a few short questions about the room and what you want it to feel like. Ahead of our call, you'll receive a confirmation email with prep instructions and a video call link. For the most creative conversation, the call should take place from inside the room we're discussing. Being in the space lets us explore ideas on the spot. If that's not possible, send extra photos in advance. During our 60 minutes, we work through the room together: layout, materials, palette, sequencing, anything that's stuck. Within 48 hours of our call, you'll receive your Room Recipe, plus the session recording and a chatlog of every product and reference we discussed.

  • Send photos and a rough floor plan at least 24 hours in advance (full instructions are in your confirmation email). Bring questions, more is more. Bring inspiration, fabric samples, links and anything you've been collecting. Make sure you have a quiet spot and a strong connection (or be in the room, ideally both).

  • Room Recipe sessions are $685, which includes the 60-minute working session and your Room Recipe delivered within 48 hours.

Paid subscribers to BUTTERFAT receive 40% off (link provided in confirmation email).

Sessions are nonrefundable. You can reschedule up to 24 hours in advance by clicking the link in your confirmation email.

hey, i’m liz

I like places that are calming and have soul. In a word: warm.

I found my way into interior design organically, working alongside architect Greg Dutton on spaces in Ohio and Pennsylvania. People liked what we did together, striking a chord with residential and retail clients alike. See for yourself in my projects gallery x.
