Creative 1:1 Sessions
with Liz Dutton
Creative 1:1 sessions are consultative and designed to help you work through a specific problem, design idea, or opportunity. Perhaps you are looking to breathe new life into an existing space and don’t know where to start, or you have a large project and need a sounding board to iterate through your selections. Creative 1:1 sessions bring fresh perspective and expertise to your project so you can move forward with confidence.
-
Creative 1:1s are for anyone looking for home design advice and problem-solving; contractors assigned with scope that includes major design decisions; aspiring designers looking for career advice and where to start; DIYers who have hit a roadblock; potential clients with a small job they’d like to pilot; other designers seeking feedback on their ideas, or something else.
-
Commercial or retail-based projects, non-designers looking for career advice, or anyone who hasn’t determined what they need help with. These sessions are not intended to be used as intro sessions for potential client work, and no deliverables are produced by Liz as a result of a session.
-
A creative session with Liz runs for 60 minutes and we can use the time however you’d like. When you sign up, you’ll provide a brief description of what we’ll be talking about and any links we may need to reference during our meeting.
Ahead of our scheduled call you’ll receive an email with a link to our video call.
During the call, you’ll be able to show your space, ask questions and get feedback. There is not a set structure for how you utilize your time; consultations are meant to be collaborative and tailored to your needs and taste.
After the call, a recording of the session will be emailed to you for easy recall once your work gets underway.
-
Know what you are asking for help with, and come prepared with questions! I suggest putting together a simple document or presentation that includes photos of the spaces you need help with, inspiration images, furniture/decor being considered, or floor plans / drawings, etc. Bring more than you think. Feel free to take notes, but also know that sessions will be recorded and a copy will be made available to you following the call.
Please make sure you have a clear internet connection, you’re in a quiet place, and that you won’t be interrupted during our time slot so we can make the most of the time.
-
Single sessions cost $685 and book instantly. Packages are available on request.
Sessions are nonrefundable. Should you need to change your appointment, you can do so by clicking the link to reschedule in your confirmation email.

hey, i’m liz
I like places that are calming and have soul. In a word: warm.
I found my way into interior design organically, working alongside architect Greg Dutton on spaces in Ohio and Pennsylvania. People liked what we did together, striking a chord with residential and retail clients alike. See for yourself in my projects gallery x.
